Jagdish Mukhi - Governor of Assam takes charge as BTC Administrator

The 26th Governor of Assam Shri Jagdish Mukhi (age 77 years) has takes charge as the Administrator of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC). Besides, Siddhartha Singh has been appointed as BTC Principal Secretary, Kokrajhar.

The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) is an autonomous district council for the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam, which was formed in February 2003. The BTC Council has included 40 elected members and an additional 6-members that are appointed by the Governor of Assam.
