Lebanon parliament legalized cannabis farming for medicinal use


  • The Parliament of Lebanon has passed the legislation to legalize cannabis farming for medicinal & industrial use. Due to this initiative, Lebanon has become the first Arab country to legalize cannabis farming.
  • Due to legalizing the cannabis farming is expected to produce high value-added medicinal products. It will also boost the Lebanese economy because Lebanon faces a financial crisis.
