15th Finance Commission Advisory Council Meeting will hold on 23rd to 24th April

The Economic Advisory Council of the 15th Finance Commission will meet on 23rd to 24th April 2020 through video-conference.
The online meeting will be chaired by Shri N. K. Singh (Chairman of the 15th Finance Commission). The online meeting will be attended on 23rd April 2020 by the 5 Members of the Council including
1. Dr. Krishnamurthy Subramanian,
2. Dr. Sajjid Z Chinoy,
3. Dr. Prachi Mishra,
4. Mr. Neelkanth Mishra, and
5. Dr. Omkar Goswami. And, the meeting of remaining members of the Council will be held on 24th April 2020.
The Agenda for the Advisory Council Meeting will be -
Implications of the pandemic for GDP growth in 2020-21 and 2021-22. Uncertainty about macro variables over time. Possible assumptions for tax buoyancy and revenue in the current year and next year. What should be the public expenditure fillip to shore up the economy?
