  • Every year on 15th April Himachal Pradesh celebrated its 72nd Statehood Day. On this day in 1948, Himachal Pradesh was established with the integration of 28 princely states and 4 Punjab southern hill states. At the time of the formation of Himachal Pradesh, it had 4 districts Chamba, Mandi, Sirmaur, and Mahasu.
  • After-that, On 18th December 1970, the State of Himachal Pradesh Act was passed by Parliament, and the new state came into being on 25th January 1971.

    Himachal Pradesh is a state in the northern part of India. It shares its borders with the UT of J&K and Ladakh to the north, Punjab to the west, Haryana to the southwest, and Uttarakhand & UP to the south.
