- The Punjab National Bank Housing Finance Limited (PNBHFL) has inked an MoU with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to raise $75 million (around Rs 568 crore) to finance mortgage loans in the affordable housing segment.
- The pact is also co-financing by Citibank of $25 million.

- The main objective of this agreement is to provide affordable housing to low-income households in India based on the facility for accelerating financial inclusion in Asia.
