NASA's InSight measured and recorded the first likely 'mars-quake' on Mars


  1. NASA's robotic Mars InSight lander has measured and recorded the first likely 'mars-quake' on Mars.
  2. The US space agency said the faint seismic signal, detected by the lander's Seismic instrument, was recorded on 6th April 2019.
  3. The first recorded trembling that appears to have come from inside the planet, as opposed to being caused by forces above the surface, such as wind.
  4. Scientists still are examining the data to determine the exact cause of the signal.
