14-15th April 2019. Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is an annual festival observed on 14th April to commemorate the memory of B.R. Ambedkar.
Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated not just in India but all around the world.
Ambedkar Jayanti honors the Dalit icon who dedicated his life working for the upliftment of untouchables, women, and laborers.
On 14 April 1990, Ambedkar was bestowed with Bharat Ratna award.
