BJP Foundation Day being Observed on 6th April

Current Affairs 6th April 2019. The Foundation Day of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is being observed today.
On this day in 1980, the BJP was established. On the 40th foundation day of the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the party is special because of workers hard work.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is one of the two major political parties in India, along with the Indian National Congress (INC).
BJP is a right-wing party, and its policy has historically reflected Hindu nationalist positions. It has close ideological and organizational links to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
