David Malpass take charge as the President of World Bank

Current Affairs 5th April 2019. Senior US Treasury official David Malpass (age 63 years) has been selected as the President of World Bank.
The World Bank's executive board unanimously selected Malpass as the 13th President of World Bank for a 5-year term.
Mr. Malpass has served on the boards of the Council of the Americas, Economic Club of New York, and the National Committee on US-China Relations.
