Once again, in disputed statements and orders, Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Kiran Bedi has said that the people who are unable to get rid of the defecation in the open, will not be given free rice. It is worth noting that in the state, the free rice scheme benefits nearly half of the population. Kiran Bedi on Saturday announced that those villages who open the garbage in the open and throw garbage in the open, they will stop giving free rice to them.
