1. Shyam Benegal has been honoured with the 'Kishore Sahu memorial national' award. Shyam Benegal is the first person to be honoured with this award.
2. 'Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial is built on Delhi's Alipur Road. This museum is made in book shape.
The best feature of this museum is that everyone will be able to hear Ambedkar live 3D, in 3 places. As soon as entering the main entrance of this museum, a 12-foot statue of Ambedkar built under the Bodhi tree on the left. His English quotation on the left side - 'We are Indians till the end'.
4. Captains Steve Smith and David Warner, who were found guilty of ball tampering, have been banned for 1 year and Benchoff has been banned for 9 months. During the ban period, these Australian players cannot play both international and domestic cricket.
5. India's largest elevated road is located in Ghaziabad. The length of this road is 10.30 km. This elevated road is made from Uttar Pradesh Gate to Karhera. This road has been inaugurated recently.
6. The award was established in 1997 by United Nations’ cultural body UNESCO’s in honour of Colombian journalist Guillermo Cano Isaza. 8. The TIME Magazine released the 100 Most Influential People List of 2018 designating individuals whose time is now. The 2018 list features the names of four self-made Indians- Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal and Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella. The list also features the US President Donald Trump.
9. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Goel inaugurated the new office of Central Project Monitoring Unit for the e-Vidhan project of the Government at the Parliament House Annexe. This was done as a part of Swachhata Pakhwada being observed by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. e-Vidhan is a part of the broader Digital India Programme of the Government.
10. Ice President M. Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the two-day Civil Services Day event in New Delhi. The Day focuses on the topic ‘Evolving Strategies for Transforming Aspirational Districts’. The Vice President also released a book 'Emulating Excellence- Takeaways for Replication'.
