The Reserve Bank took a major decision to attach Aadhar card to the Accounts. RBI has now made it mandatory for all the account holders to link to their account with Aadhar card. The Reserve Bank recently issued a circular in this regard. However, this new rule of RBI will depend on the final decision in the matter of running the Supreme Court regarding the inevitability of the Aadhaar.
