Due to this leakage, 500 employees of the nuclear plant were affected by radiations, soon after, the US administration had announced an emergency. This was considered to be the biggest nuclear accident in US history.
10. The radioactive elements leaked from six underground nuclear waste tanks in the US were on March 28, 2013. These tanks are considered the most polluted atomic sites on Earth.
