Plea against former MPs' pension rejected by Supreme Court


The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a PIL challenging of former MPs, including pension and travel allowances, and other allowances. A bench of Sanjay Kishan Kaul had reserved its order on March 7 this year. The Center had told the apex court on March 7 that it is appropriate for former MPs to get pension and other benefits because their tenure as Parliamentarians may have ended, their dignity should be retained.
