1. World Kidney Day is celebrated on 13th March every year. This day is celebrated with the aim of making people aware of kidney related diseases and diagnosing the problem.

Members of parliament and provincial assemblies vote in the presidential election Vidya Devi is the first woman to be appointed as the President of Nepal.
7. In the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, "Prakarti" has been appointed as the security officer. "Prakarti" is the first woman to be appointed on this post. Earlier, women were recruited to the Constable rank in ITBP.
