It was opened by the Minister of Food Industry of the United Kingdom Harsimrat Kaur Badal. The first Mega Food Park in the state is in Haridwar. Mega Food Park was established in the area of ??50.14 acres worth 99.96 crore rupees. It has a central processing center (CPC).
