Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was awarded the Padma Bhushan on 2nd April 2018. Everyone was shocked when Dhoni arrived in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday to take the honour from President Ramnath Kovind. Because Dhoni did not come there wearing a uniform but in the incarnation of the army officer wearing the uniform. Since then, the question was raised why Dhoni had come out wearing the dress of the Army, now the question itself has been answered by Dhoni himself.
Dhoni posted on his Instagram account about this being a great thing to be honoured with the Padma Bhushan and receipt in the Army's uniform ten times this happiness. Dhoni also thanked the Army personnel on this occasion. He wrote that thanks to the people who are working in the country, whether women or men living in uniform and their families are also suffering. Because of your sacrifice, we are happy.
