India successfully test-fired the SANT 'Stand-off Anti-tank' missile


  • India has successfully flight-tested its indigenously developed SANT 'Stand-off Anti-tank' missile from Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Odisha coast.
  • Highlights,
    - It is an Air to Surface missile
    - It is an upgraded version of the Anti-tank missile, Helicopter Launched Nag (HeliNa).
    - And, it is developed by DRDO for Indian Air Force (IAF).
    - It can destroy the targets 15 km to 20 km away.
