Goa celebrates Statehood Day on 30th May Every year


  • Goa celebrates its Statehood day on 30th May every year. On this day, 30th May 1987 Goa was established as the 25th state of India. Before this, Goa was a union territory (namely, Goa, Daman, and Diu). On this occasion, the Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant said that this day to reflect on people’s achievements and evolve a strategy to achieve the much-desired status of a prosperous and advanced state.
