Rajiv Joshi won NYIPLA Inventor of the year Award 2020


  • Rajiv Joshi won the prestigious NYIPLA Inventor of the Year Award 2020 for his contribution to advancing the electronic industry and improving artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. He is an Indian-American prolific inventor and Research staff member at IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York.
  • The award is presented by the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA). This award is given every year to honor the contribution of an inventor to society. And, the cash prize for this award is USD 5,000.
  • Rajiv Joshi,
    Rajiv Joshi has done a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay. Besides, he is an IEEE Fellow and received the Industrial Pioneer Award from the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society in 2013 and the IEEE Daniel E. Noble Award in 2018. He holds 225 U.S. patents.
