- The National Restaurants Association of India (NRAI) has joined hands with DotPe to build its own tech platform. Its main objective is to enable online payments for Food Ordering, Pay Bills, and Contactless dining. And, also to reduce the dependence of restaurant on food delivery apps.

NRAI is the apex body of the Food and Beverage Industry in India. It was founded in 1982 by L.C Nirula, Madan Lamba (Volga), O. P Bahl (Khyber Restaurant), R. D Gora (Gazebo), A. S Kamat (Kamat Restaurants), etc. Its headquarter is in Headquartered in Delhi. At present, the President of NRAI is Riyaaz Amlani.
