Debesh Roy - Noted Bengali Writer passed away at 84 years

Noted Bengali language Writer and Scholar Debesh Roy passed away due to cardiac arrest on 14th May 2020 at a private hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal. In 1990, he had awarded the 'Sahitya Academy Award' for his novel 'Teesta Parer Brittanto'. Besides, he was also awarded the Bhasa Sahitya Parishad and Bhualka Pushkar.
As a Bengali Writer, Debesh Roy writes numerous books, including Borisaler Jogen Mondal, Manush Khun Kore Keno, Samay Asamayer Brittanto, and Lagan Gandhar.
