- The Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has appointed the Vasudha Mishra as the New Secretary of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Department of Personnel and Training of Government of India. She replaced Rakesh Gupta.
- Vasudha Mishra is an IAS officer of the 1987 batch of Telangana cadre. At present, She served as the Special Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, and Farmers Welfare.
- In other appointments,
1. Mr. Rajendra Kumar appointed as the Director-General (DG) of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation.
2. Mr. Rajesh Ranjan appointed as the Additional Secretary of Department of Higher Education.
3. Besides, Mr. K. Srinivas elected as the Establishment Officer (EO) in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
