2020 Non-Aligned Movement (NAM Summit) Conference begun

The 2020 Non-Aligned Movement (NAM Summit) Conference has begun today through video conferencing. From the India side, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has participated in this summit. And, this summit is hosted by the NAM Chairman Ilham Aliyev, who is the 4th President of Azerbaijan.
NAM Summit Objective,
The main objective of the 2020 NAM Summit is to promote international solidarity in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and to mobilize efforts of States and international organizations to address the pandemic.
Theme,
The theme slogan for the 2020 NAM Summit is "We are together against COVID-19".
Non-Aligned Movement,
The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a forum of 120 developing countries, which was established in 1961. After the United Nations (UN), it is the largest grouping of countries around the world.
