National Book Trust (NBT) launched #StayHomeIndiaWithBooks initiative

  • Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), the National Book Trust (NBT) has launched the new initiative #StayHomeIndiaWithBooks today. Its objective is to encourage people to read books while at home.
  • Under this initiative, NBT will provide its and best-selling books for FREE Download in PDF format.
  • #StayHomeIndiaWithBooks,
    - Users can easily download the PDF format from the NBT's website https://nbtindia.gov.in.
    - And these books are available in Hindi, English, Asamiya, Bangla, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia, Marathi, Kokborok, Mizo, Bodo, Nepali, Tamil, Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, and Sanskrit language.
    - The books will cover all genres of fiction, biography, popular science, teacher's handbook, and especially books for children and young adults.
    - In the NBT website, there are many books which are written by Rabindranath Tagore, Munshi Premchand, and Mahatma Gandhi, etc.

    NBT is is an Indian publishing house that was established on 1st August 1957. Its headquarter is in Vasant Kunj, Delhi.
    - Presently, the NBT President is Govind Prasad Sharma.
