BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan becomes Madhya Pradesh new Chief Minister


  • BJP leader Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan (age 61 years) becomes Madhya Pradesh's new Chief Minister (17th). It is the 4th time that he is elected as the Chief Minister of MP.
  • MP Governor Shri Lalji Tandon administered him the oath of office and Secrecy at Rajbhavan. Prior to this, Shivraj Singh Chouhan served as the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister between 2005-18 and holds the record as the state's longest-serving Chief Minister.
