- Every year on 23rd March India celebrated Shaheed Diwas to pay tribute to Indian revolutionary Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru. On this day in 1931, the above Indian revolutionary was hanged by the British in Lahore (Pakistan).
