Former SBI Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya resigns from Crisil Board


  • Retired Chairman of the State Bank of India (SBI) Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya has submitted her resignation as an independent director of Crisil. After this, She will be joining as a Chairman-and-CEO for India operations of America cloud-based software company Salesforce.
  • Arundhati Bhattacharya was the first woman to served as the 24th Chairman of the State Bank of India (SBI) from 7th October 2013 to 6th October 2017.
  • In 2016, she was listed as the 25th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.
