5-days National Winter Games began at Gulmarg

Under the initiative of Khelo India, The 5-days long National Winter Games began at Gulmarg in Jammu & Kashmir UT. On 7th March, the Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the Khelo India Winter Games.
Around 1000 sports-persons from across the country are participating in this event. In the competitions, Snow skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, Ski mountaineering, and Snow baseball games would be held.
Khelo India Youth Games,
- Khelo India Youth Games formerly is held every year in January or February month. These games are divided into 2-categories U-17 and U-21 students.
- The top best 1000 kids have to give a yearly scholarship of Rs 5,00,000/- for 8 years and to prepare them for the international sporting events.
- On 31st January 2018, PM Modi had inaugurated the Khelo India School Games.
