- United Nations (UN) honored the Health Minister of Kerala K. K. Shailaja for her efforts to fight against COVID-19 in the state. She was the honored speaker from India to speak about the strategies that were adopted by the state to combat the pandemic. She is the only Indian leader, who is being invited to speak on the occasion of United Nations Public Service Day.
