- Former right-handed English cricketer Clare Joanne Connor has been appointed as the First Female President of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). She replaced Kumar Sangakkara. In the past 233-year, this is the first time that women will take this position. At Present, Clare Joanne working as the Director of Cricket for the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
