Sethuraman Panchanathan - New Director of National Science Foundation (NSF)

The Appointment Committee of the US Senate has appointed Sethuraman Panchanathan as the New Director of the National Science Foundation (NSF). He will be the 15th NSF Director, who will replace France Cordova.
At Present, he working as the head of Arizona State University (ASU). Sethuraman Panchanathan is the 2nd Indian-American to be elected as the Chief of NSF, after Subra Suresh (October 2010 to March 2013).
