Pratik Tirodkar developed World's first Internet-controlled robot 'Coro-Bot'


  • Pratik Tirodkar has developed the World’s first Internet-controlled robot 'Coro-Bot' to address the needs of the hospitals treating COVID-19 patients. Pratik Tirodkar is 23-year old Engineer from Thane, and the founder of a start-up PNT Solution.
  • Highlights,
    - The robot will deliver food, water, and medicines to Corona patients in hospitals without needing the physical presence of nurses and other caregivers.
    - Due to this robot, Doctors and Para Medical Staff will interact with patients by the camera and give reminders to patients to sanitize their hands before they pick up things from trays.
    - Besides, the 'Coro-Bot' will contains Trays, Dispensers & Sensors for Sanitizers, LED Lights, Nozzles, etc.
  • Cost,
    - The estimated cost of the 'Coro-Bot' lies between Rs 1,60,000 to 3,80,000/-, depending on various specifications like the load-carrying capacity among others and the Ornithopter is around Rs 30,000/-.
