Noted Indian writer from Ranchi Kritika Pandey won the 2020 Commonwealth Short Story Prize for Asia Region. The 29-year-old Kritika won the prize for her story "The Great Indian Tee and Snakes". Prior to this, Kritika Pande had been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
