PASSEX - India & Japan joint Naval Exercise


  • Indian Navy and Japanese Navy conducted a join Naval Exercise named "PASSEX - Passing Exercise" for tactical and communications training, towards the Malacca Strait in the Indian Ocean Region. This was the 15th edition of the PASSEX naval exercise.
  • In this exercise, from the Indian Navy side;
    i) Rajput-class destroyer INS Rana, and
    ii) Kora-class missile corvette INS Kulish, and
    From the Japanese Navy side;
    i) JS Kashima (TV 3508), and
    ii) J. S. Shimayuki (TV 3513) had participated.
