Martyrs' Day is celebrated on 30th January & 23rd March across the country

Every year on 30th January and 23rd March Martyrs' Day is celebrated across the country to pay the tribute to the victims who fought for the freedom of India.
On 30th January 1948, Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated in the garden of Birla House (now Gandhi Smriti), New Delhi.
And, On 23rd March 1931, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were hanged by the British.
