24th January: International Day of Education

The International Day of Education is celebrated on 24th January annually around the globe and this day is dedicated to education.
The theme for this year is "Learning for People, Planet, Prosperity, and Peace".
The first-ever International Day of Education was celebrated on 24th January 2019 as per the resolution passed by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on 3rd December 2018 to celebrate the role of education in development.
