The World's 2nd largest Army- Indian Army was conducted the airborne exercise named Winged Raider in the North-Eastern theatre on 10th January 2020.
It was the first-of-its-kind biggest airborne exercise done by the Indian Army. Around 500 special forces, troops had participated in the exercise.
The exercise was conducted from 6th to 10th January 2020 and it included Special Forces personnel parachuting from C-130 Hercules and C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF), besides Dhruv helicopters during the day and night.
