ICC awarded Rohit Sharma as ODI Cricketer of the Year 2019


  • Indian opener batsmen Rohit Sharma (age 32 years) awarded the ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year 2019 for his incredible run of form.
  • While Indian captain Virat Kohli (age 31 years) won the Spirit of Cricket award for his gesture of trying to stop the fans from booing Steve Smith during a World Cup match.
  • England all-rounder Ben Stokes (age 28 years) honored the 'Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy' for Player of the Year. While Australia fast bowler Pat Cummins (age 26 years) honored the Test Player of the Year award.

    i) Deepak Chahar won the T20 International Performance of the Year award.
    ii) Marnus Labuschagne won the Emerging Cricketer of the Year award.
    iii) Kyle Coetzer won the Associate Cricketer of the Year award.
