Dr. Bipul Behari Saha elected as IUPAC Bureau member for the year 2020-23

Dr. Bipul Behari Saha has been elected as a Bureau Member of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) for the year 2020-23.
He is the 2nd Indian after CNR Rao to be nominated for this position.
IUPAC is an international federation of National Adhering Organizations that represents chemists in individual countries.
It was formed in 1919. It's headquarters at Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, US.
The current President of IUPAC is Qi-Feng Zhou.
