9th edition of Women Science Congress begins in Bengaluru

The 9th edition of the Women Science Congress was inaugurated at the ongoing Indian Science Congress on 5th January 2020 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
On the occasion, The Chief Guest is DRDO Aeronautical Systems Director-General Dr.Tessy Thomas, who is also known as Missile Woman.
Recalling the contribution of women in different spheres, she said, the status of women in the country is changing as their growing presence is seen in many areas of expertise.
