P. V. Sindhu won ESPN Female Sportsperson of the Year award

World No. 2 badminton player P. V. Sindhu won the ESPN's Female Sportsperson of the Year award in the Women's category for a third consecutive time.
In Male's category, shooter Saurabh Chaudhary won the ESPN's Male Sportsperson of the Year award.
In another category;
- Sprinter Dutee Chand bags Courage award.
- Koneru Humpy won the Comeback of the Year award.
- Deepak Punia wins ESPN's Emerging Sports Person of the Year award.
- Badminton Coach Pullela Gopichand won the Coach of the Year award.
- Manu Bhaker & Saurabh Chaudhary bags Team of the Year award.
- Manasi Joshi won the Differently-abled Athlete of the Year/ Para-Athlete award.
- Hockey legend Balbir Singh Senior won the ESPN's Lifetime Achievement award.
