- The 5th edition of India-Russia Military Industrial Conference is held on the sidelines of the ongoing Def Expo 2020 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
- Around 100 Russian and over 200 Indian industry leaders participated in the conference.
- During the conference, 14 MoUs such as T-72, T-90, radar systems, ASW Rocket launchers, and 3D modeling were signed between Indian and Russian companies under the Make in India initiative.
- BHEL, Bharat Dynamics Limited, and Vista Control from the Indian side and INVERSIA, UVZ, and BEML Limited from the Russian side participated in the conference.
