Noted novelist Jaswant Singh Kanwal died at age 101

Noted Indian novelist & writer of the Punjabi language Jaswant Singh Kanwal died after a brief illness at his native village in Dhudike, Moga district in Punjab. He was 101 years.
In 1996, He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Fellowship award for his book Pakhi. And, in 1998 he received the Sahitya Academy award for his novel Taushali Di Hanso.
