Noted feminist writer & editor Vidya Bal passes away

Noted Marathi feminist writer & editor from Maharashtra Vidya Bal passed away at a Private Nursing Hospital in Pune. She was 83 years.
She was a social activist particularly in the area of equalization of the social status of women and men in India.
Vidya Bal had fought a legal battle in the High Court of Maharashtra for women getting the right to enter various places of worship.
