- The 12th Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan (age 75 years) has inaugurated the state first marine ambulance boat 'PRATHEEKSHA' through video conferencing.
- It has been built by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and designed by the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) with an estimated cost of Rs 6,08,00,000. It will be deployed at Vizhinjam village of Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala.
