- SBI Mutual Fund has appointed Vinay Tonse as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He replaced Ashwani Bhatia, who has been appointed as the MD of State Bank of India (SBI).
- Prior to taking up this assignment, Vinay Tonse had to work as the SBI Chief General Manager for the Chennai circle and was also heading SBI’s business & operations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry region.
