- German golfer Sophia Popov (age 27 years) has won the 2020 Women's British Open Championship. She defeated his opponent Thidapa Suwannapura by two strokes. It was the 44th Women's British Open that was held at Royal Troon Golf Club, Scotland from 20th to 23rd August.
