Saudi Arabia ended the Death Penalty for minors in the country


  • Saudi Arabia has ended the Death Penalty for crimes committed by minors in the country. Instead, the individual will receive a prison sentence of no longer than 10 years in a juvenile detention facility.
  • Prior to this, Saudi Arabia had ended the practice of flogging in the country.
