- The Government of Karnataka state has launched the Apthamitra mobile app and Toll-free helpline number 14410 to tackle the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The helpline number and mobile app are launched by Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa.

Speaking on the occasion, Karnataka CM said that the Apthamitra helpline will work from 8 A.M to 8 P.M, with helpline Centers at Bengaluru, Mysore, and Mangalore and will deal with only COVID-19-related queries including telemedicine, counseling, and facilitating testing and treatment for those in need.
